on my srt the spur gear keeps stripini went threw 2 in 2 runs, my slipper is almost cranked down.So what could be wrong?

What TH said. :D I could also be that the chassis is flexing too much but I doubt it.

"...my slipper is almost cranked down." THAT is most likely your problem. The slipper clutch absorbs drivetrain shock, and if you tighten it down so it doesn't slip, it necomes useless. Since the slipper can't slip, the gears absorb the shock and get damaged. The hardest thing on tranny gears is when your slipper is too tight and you hold the gas pegged while in the air and don't let off while you land. The tires hit the ground, inevitably slow down, and the force between the motor and wheels must go somewhere, so the gear teeth get chewed... In short, loosen your slipper.

I woulda said exactly what Brian said if I were here faster, and added this: Take piece of paper and put it between the spur and pinion gear. Then, tighten the mesh as hard as you normally do. The mesh should have just a "tick" of play inbetween it, which is what the paper does for it. Ff not, make it just a 'tick' of play.
