any of you guys have a shun da acceiptor plane and have got a better battery pack that'll fit in the compartment and has a larger power supply? the 8.4v 600mah that comes with the plane is junk. it's just too weak of a battery. by the time I can get the plane up 200ft(climbing against wind) the batts pretty much weaked out already so any further altitude would just be like a crawl and because the planes not up high enough flight times don't last very long at all 10mins max even though I try to conserve power by shuttin' off the props and glide as much as possible

I am going to look for a couple spare batterys soon but I don't have any trouble with the stock battery. Plane will climb out of sight with still plenty of battery power left. Maybe your battery is bad or weak?

The batterys I have say only 2 hours max or until they get warm. I use a timer for 1 1/2 hours. Do you think you fried your battery? I have b4 by overcharging.

Let me know what size is the battery bay an I may be able to help you with a lipo pack for about same weight and double the capacity of a NiMH.

Thats a pretty big space. I have the 11.1V 1500mah and 1200mah packs that would fit this size.
New TrueRC 800mAh 11.1V 10C packs are also available. They would be a nice power upgrade to the Badius.
