Hey,
I just picked up one of these bad boys and I want to hop-it-up as much as possible. I know it comes with bearings, but I don't know if it's for everything.

What shocks/ESCs (mounting-wise)/motors/anything can I stick in this to make it fly?

What hop-ups are compatible with the TA04? I'm interested in the things like head and tail lights and I want to get the Tamiya kit, I saw that they were releasing it Mid March.

Thanks if you gimme some info!

Animeking, If it doesn't have oil filled shocks get some. Sealed bearings is a good start. Futaba makes an excellent ESC (330CR). If you want the best, go with LRP. Motors get a Reedy MVP or more serious modified which they have. If it doesn't come with them get some Proline tires and/or wheels. If you have the funds experiment. Hopefully your manual will give you some setup options. Look I'm a "newbie" like you, but these are the basics I've learned if knowone else will help you.

Thanks Fergy,
I will look into all that stuff. I'm a newbie as far as hop-ups go, but I've got 2 other cars I've had for about a year...

My funds are unlimited - well, I don't think I'd spend $1000 on a speed control, but you know what I mean. Top of the line stuff...

how's your experimenting with your TA04 going?
