I've been out of R/C for about 10 years and recently started thinking about it again. I dug out my old equipment and to my surprise it all still works. I have an old RC10 with a Novak T1X speed controller and Futaba Magnun Jr. radio. On to my dilemma....I kind of want to get a new car but I'm stuck between the Factory Team B3 and the Losi XXX Kinwald Edition. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

you have an rc10 so get a b3 i will never buy a losi again. too many problems with them. my xx4 was a nightmare drivetrain parts were not threaded or tapped.

Yeah I'm kind of leaning that way. I've always been partial to associated products. Any suggestions on batteries? Like I said mine are 10 years old. Amazingly they took a charge and worked but somehow I don't think they'll last too long. Thanks.....

Get some good 2400s; they are the best IMHO. Don't waste your time with 3000s, yet.
AE or Losi is YOUR choice, don't let other people's predjudices get in your way. Both companies make awesome kits. It's up to you to see them in person and make a decision based on what you like. I loved my AE RC10T and now I love my XXXT, they're both great.

You're right. It's a tough choice. Before I gave it up I had a JRX Pro which I really liked. I don't really know why I got rid of it. I guess I figured I was too old for it anymore or something. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed R/C. I think I'm gonna stick with Associated.

Another dumb question. What is IMHO? I don't seem to recall that. I've got a Tekin BC100L charger. Should that get the job done? I always thought it was a pretty nice charger. Be nice if it plugged into the wall though....

Well i think the b3 imo. I like it becasue it is just smooth. But it all depends what is available at your lhs. And batteries i think 2000 or 2400. I personally like nicds. But it also depends on how much u wanna spend. you can im me on aol or aim at: lbjustintime.

Well I almost had a B3 Team Edition, new and unassembled in the box. That is until I was outbid on ebay with 12 seconds left to go in the auction. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/mad.gif I guess I'll have to break down and order a new Factory Team. The cheapest I've found it is $199.00. Anybody know of anywhere I can get it cheaper?

Get the B3 or a Kyosho Ultima RB. The Kyosho is one "BAD" buggy, the other guys can attest to the B3.
