Sebairbrush.com is one painter that does awesome work. There are also a lot of other painters here that a very good too. Leadfoot is another painter that does awesome work as well. I like the style he uses on all the bodies he paints.

One of my favorites is Sean Oz. He's a tattoo artist mostly, but his work (mostly 8th buggies, so they don't have to look like real cars :) ) is very original.

it's a loaded question...

It all depends on your taste and what you like. It's not very fair to other painters to decide on the single best...because we all do different things. If I had extra $$$ to spend and needed a body I would look to one of these three...not necessarily in this order:

Best painter: Charlie Barnes (http://socal.rcracing.com/Custom_Paintjobs.cfm)

Most Creative: Sean Oliver (http://worldofozz.com/nemo/gallery.html)

Best Execution: Doug Summers (http://www.rcbodz.com)

Alot of the painters that do R/C and post here are unreal and could easily paint fullsize cars, bikes, etc and make some real money!

I ocassionally get into the seriously hairy designs and layered effects, but it isn't often that people want to pay that much for a race body, so I try and stay in the market that is most cost effective for everyone...usually, LOL.

My favorite is Roly. He makes the best race schemes bar none. Don't know if he'd got a website.

It has been my experience that for a paintjob to be exactly what you want you need to do it yourself. Since some are not painters, they end up with what someone else thinks is the way it should look, and individual styling also factors in.

I have heard good and bad about almost every painter, myself included, wether it's time to complete the work, amount they charge, frequently repeated work, color choices, score lines that crack in impacts, peeling paint, etc., etc.

"Some of the people all of the time, all of the people some of the time, blah blah blah....."

There are alot of awesome paintjobs floating around on the net and at the tracks, imo, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
