Orion Chrome Mod or D4????

Im getting a XX4 worlds for Christmas, but I dont know whats the better motor! Help? http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/confused.gif

I myself would run a Orion Chrome mod. Ofcourse I'm being biased here because thats what I run for a mod. Its a 13x2 Chrome Touring mod motor. Another company I have good luck at is Race Prep. I oned one of there non rebuildable stockers. Fast for a while. The thing that I like about Race Prep is that you can order any motor the way you want it. Not the you take what you get from the factory deal. Of course you could tell them what your running and they would build it to your needs.

i have an team losi xx4 myself, i dont run ether otor but i have driver both before, they seem lik great motors , you have two choices jukka sterria orion or brian kinwald
trinity but what ever motor you do choose i would go ith a 11 turn hand wound triple wined!

I would choose the Aurora, first time drivin, i would get a 13 triple, not as bloody fast, then go ape with the super low turn mods, i asked for a 13 triple aurora for christmas, hope i get it

Get the Aurora!!! they are great motors!

You will have great luck with either.

However, I will have to give the edge to the Orion/Peak motors. They make great power, and are very consistent, motor to motor.

For your XX4, what batteries do ou have?

I usually ran an 11x2 when I ran 2000's.

If you have 2400's, try a 10x3.

For 3000's you will need to dip a little lower, something like a 9x3.

If you are inexperienced, get yourself a machine wound motor, until you are ready for the BIG power.

I have used a 13x2 speed gems quite a good bit, and I'll be using orion sanyo 3000's and 2400's. I figured I'm still not the best driver yet so i got a triple wind.
