Hello guys! Well I have been running my Miss Bud for a little over a month and she has been doing great except for a few minor issues that I was able to handle. Anyways I was looking to get something with some more speed. The guy at the hobby shop recommended the Top Speed 2. He said it would do 45mph out of the box. Does anyone else have the top speed? Just looking for a little info on it.

It's a nice boat, especially for the price. I would expect to see a review of it coming soon to RCBM. It has already proven its worth at the NAMBA Nat's and the IMPBA Internat's so you can't go wrong. The instruction manual is one of the best that I've seen. 45 MPH? It should be able to and then some with some minor work.

Thanks for your reply Ron. I have read through manual on the Tower Hobbies web site and I placed the white version in lay away last week. I will be picking it up next week but I am a bit nervous since this will be the first boat that I have put together. The manual looks pretty simple. Looks like the hardest part is getting the engine mounted correctly. Thanks again for your help! :)

I hope that you found the latest edition of the owners manual as there is a typo in the original as far as the hole sizes that have to be drilled in the transom to mount the engine. Jerry Dunlap went to extra lengths to try to get everything right.
I kind of hate to tell you or anyone else this but in the next year you may see one or two more OB tunnel boats coming out of Aquacraft, the Villain and Nemesis that were formerly sold by Power Surge Racing Products (Grimracer). The owner, Mike Zaborowski is going to work for them now and they wanted his hulls as part of the deal.

I haven't picked up the boat yet but I have read the manual online at the tower hobbies website hopefully that will have the correct information about the mounting holes. I will be picking up the boat next week but it may be a while before I mount the engine since I may have to save for a few weeks before I can buy it

That will drive you nuts not having an engine to hang on it! In the meantime you can put the radio box together which should take about an hour or so.
