i want to get a teken rebel esc from hobby people would this be smart?does tekin exist anymore?will hobbypeople let me return it if something goes wrong? will i have to worry about it or not(is it high quality)?

Tekin makes good stuff. Whether they're going out of business or not remains to be seen, however we do know that they do not have a repair service anymore.

I've tried calling them list 40 times in the last two weeks with now luck. I'm just going to have to take a day off and drive up there soon. I'm about an 45 mins south of there shop. :)

tekin may not repair, but xpress tech does, and if you ask me their pretty cheap. on my rebel i needed 4 wires resoldered, new servo leads,and on/off swicth. they said it would be 35$ shipping included :eek:

well my lhs knows a lot about esc's so if i need repair i'll have them look at it first

It's a shame about Tekin. Their ESCs and chargers offer a much better price/performance value than Novak. I'll still buy the 112C charger and the G-10 ESC now that I know about Xpress Tech.
