What parts would i need to add to my T3 FT to make it a B3 FT? There are the wheels and tires, then take out the front body mount. WHat about the suspension arms? New body too, but anything Im missing?

hmm, here are some other guesses(I am not +) Drive shafts, tie rods, suspension arms, and possibly the chassis.

That sounds about right. Anyone to second that?

If you race and dont get a rock soild answer you can match up the two.But if you dont I will match up the two this Saturday. What you can do to is go to Associateds site and look up part #'s for the 2 and match them up and see whats the same.I dont think much is different.Im going to associateds site after this to see for myself.Good luck I love my FtB3

I'm sure the chassis are the same. The only other things I think are different are: shocks & shafts, shock towers, and the things XXXER said (except the chassis).

I see that they hava a XL chassis for the T3 and the shocks are the same.Man I dont understand why people think the shocks are different,I say the heck with it just get some B3 wheels and tires and see how it looks. And if you satisfied then get the body.?Makes sense to me it sounds like the cheapest way to do it.If the chassis is the XL one get the chassis.Arent the arms on the T3 wider than the B3?

The arms are definitely different. When you change to shorter arms, you'll need shorter turnbuckles and shorter CVD bones. Buggies generally use shorter shocks than trucks, but that doesn't mean you can't use them with a buggy. I'm sure the shock tower(s) is/(are) different, too.

There are alot of similarities, but you would still need a bunch of stuff!

First you need a chassis, the B3 Chassis is quite a bit shorter than the T3

Front:
Arms
Front Shocks
Shock Tower
Turnbuckles(Steering and camber link)

Rear:
Arms
CVD's
Turnbuckles
Shock Tower
Shock Shafts

I think if you add it up...your better off to sell your truck and buy a new buggy, it will be cheaper!

i have an easy way to do it take a t3 and take off the front arms and chamber links and put on b3 stuff. Then get some front be tires and use them. You should also changethe shocl tower and another thing you would need is 2 bodys you just have to cut them up and shoe glut them togher ih the right places. But it looks realy cool with the t3 end and chassi and your set

Wow...thats a lot of parts to buy..I think Ill just try to replace the wheels and body!...Low budget...

Isky, see if someone you know has some T3 wheels you can use, to make sure that they do not rub on any parts, that is important to check! Nairb, you do need to replace the chassis, the XXX and 3XT chassis' are different also, generally, that is the way it is with them
