How much of a speed difference....

How much of a speed difference will there be when i put a 19t speed jems in when i used to have a stinger 20t?
This is in a rustler.

Dont waste your money on buying a motor with one turn diffrence, just go with the Speed Gems 17 turn motor. Just buy a 17 tooth pinion and have fun!

There will be a noticable difference. The 'modified' motor it comes with is a sealed endbell, and isnt performance worthy. The 19 turn will be good for an extra 7+mph, gearing pending. You would probably be happier with say a 17 turn Speed Gem, but most anything will be faster than the closed endbell "mabuchi" style endbelled motor it comes with. Remember to change the pinion for maximum performance.

Also, what ESC are you using? The MSC will get really hot using any motor and I would upgrade that before the motor. Any ESC will be better than none. And the Rustler can take it (put in a 14 turn D3 in it before, loootss o' fun :) )
