Loamy tracks beware there is a new terror in town. Introducing Pro-Line’s all-new Step-Up tire for 1:8 buggies. The Step-Up tire is inspired from the step-pin tire traditionally found shredding up loamy track conditions on 1:10 trucks and buggies. This proven breed of tread design morphs it’s way into the 1:8 market ensuring uncompromised traction on those soft surfaces. “The traction is amazing at The Dirt when it’s freshly watered,” says Mark Pavidis, “I never realized my car could perform better then it already does.”

If you’re already running on loamy surfaces then this is the tire for you. If not, then you may just want to pick-up a set and find a loam track to see just exactly what Mark is talking about.

Super soft and tall pins is not a very bright idea(pins just flop over) but I guess if the surface is soft enough they will dig in and do there job .

M2 really is not all that soft. It is soft for 1/8th scale tires but they should dig pretty well. This is the same compound as the rest of pro-lines 8th scale tires.

The Panther Step Pins worked so well on many surfaces that it only makes sense for Pro line to release a tire to compete...

I think they did it to compete with Losi's new tire. I hope losi makes a couple other 8th scale tires as there rubber compound work well.
