I am hoping to get some of these and was wondering if anyone has them and what there numbers are? What is the average numbers of there packs? By numbers, I mean, Voltage, runtime, resistance and all that stuff, basically everything that is printed on the cells labell.

Hey Aussie Man, where are you gonna get 'em from ? I need some new packs, tried to get 2000 mah individual cells to make them up but outta luck. Not much in the way of 2000's in Sydney at the moment....

As with any matcher, Fantom/SMC sells different levels of batteries.

If they are 2000's, I would be skeptical of the quality of the numbers, since Sanyo has not produced a 2000 cell in over a year; the good ones are long gone.

I would recommend the later date code 2400's that are now available.

SirSppedy. I have been buying 2000 sanyo's and have no problem. i have about 5 of them. And i continue to buy them from integy mostly. So it has to be a lot less then a year.

Companies such as Integy still have a great stock of 2000's left over, but the fact does remain, Sanyo discontinued the 2000 when the 2400 was released....that was approximately Mar. 2000.

All of the good 2000's are gone....period.

Sir Speedy:

You are wrong. Sanyo still makes 2000 cells. The R/C shrink 2000s are still available from Sanyo.

I called the guy who took over my position in battery sales and he called Sanyo. The RC2000s are still available, but the quality is lower than before the 2400s came out.

Period.

Sorry, I am not familiar with power tool cells.

As I said, all of the good 2000's are gone.

OK OK!! No need to have a big fight over it. What cells are they still producing? Any 1700's, 1400's?. What about Trinity? They are still adzertising 2000 worlds packs and stuff.

As far as I know and have been told, 2000's have been or are being phased out. There may be 2000s floating around, but I have been told that you won't see them much longer.

Yes DerekB is correct, they are being phased out slowly.

But the R/C shrink wrap cells are still available from Sanyo.

And are still being made, but their days are numbered.
