what? that is a sweet body. and its pretty diffrent too!

That is probably the coolest maxx body I have ever seen. :D

Whoa.....
One question that quickly came to mind: What happens if you flip the thing? Say goodbye to the top half of your seats and steering wheel........
MrCrash
10-18-2005, 11:23 PM
Exactly. You may as well strap some fine china to the top of your truck. It'll break just as easily.

Another thing: That is probably one of the most not-aerodynamic bodies I've ever seen; Unless they make that giant beast-of-a steering wheel streamlined.....
Either way, Golf Carts aren't exactly aerodynamically fit to do high speeds like many of today's modern nitro trucks can do. Come to think of it, that just looks like a complete joke. Kind of pointless, in my opinion.

i think it looks very stupid..if thats all i had to run i would just run without the body lol.

wow.... that is the stupidest body ever! Not trying to sound like an ass, but im sure most racers are asking the same question. Why couldn't proline spend their time and money on desining a new, cooler, more aerodynamic on-road racing body? A new version of the crowdpleaser for MT's? 1/8 buggies?
tadium54
10-19-2005, 01:35 AM
by that logic, every non-aerodynamic body should be removed from prolines list. if its only racers buying it, it might be diffrent, but i think we all know that proline has more than 1 market

Everything doesn't need to be centered around aerodynamicy and racing. It's a fricken monster truck. Who needs to be aerodynamic with a monster truck. Unless you do race MT's then it woould be impractical but bodies don't need to be aerodynamic for good ol' fashin' bashin'

well it goes after the yuppie r/c guy who also plays golf and so on.

I was talking about instead of making this mt body, make some other kind of body. non mt or mt.

also, anyone who races against someone with this better be scared- if he/she has the gall to slap that on and still think of winning, hes either got alot of skills behind the wheel, has some trick up their sleeve or some major power under the hood.

Put Barbie behind the wheel and Ken in the passenger seat with his hands in the air. "Do you remember the signal?" (Team America reference)

For some reason a LOT of r /c guys think that if a company comes out with a a new product, they are under a contract or something that they have to buy it.
And it "offends" them when it's a product they don't like.
You don't have to buy anything!
Thats like if Duratrax was to come out with a buggy based Fred Flintstones car, doesn't matter to me I didn't plan on buying it anyway.......

I think they were after that "cute" factor and all the golf nuts out there. Kinda cute and weird all at the same time.
I can just see a Proline design team mtg where the ques is asked - we've done just about everything what else can we make??? Def thinking outside of the box.

Now if that came with the big slab of dinosaur ribs or authentic foot brakes... maybe. :)

I think that is a great body, may not be the best for bashing or racing maybe chasing the kids around in the yard. I think it is just a fun idea.

Different in a good way....I'd get it.
Couple of questions.
Since when is a monster truck need to be aerodynamic?
and
Since when are you yuppie if you play golf?
pedeman
10-20-2005, 08:06 PM
i think most of you are missing the whole point of the body-it looks like it was designed for show. i'll probably buy one and make it look like our golfcart. come to think of it...

As a basher I love it, it looks different, it's not the same ole' pick-up truck/hummer body you see everywhere and it has the humor factor to it. I think it's great!!!!
And like calvin 3 said...since when dose an MT need to be areo dynamic?
pedeman
10-21-2005, 03:21 PM
actually- come to think of it, why would they make this for a MT? they should make it for a mini-t. that would be awesome. they dont roll over as much, and they are smaller. makes sense to me...

Since when is a monster truck need to be aerodynamic?
ok.... i said they shouldv'e made a more aerodynamic body for ANOTHER CLASS or maybe just a better racing MT body. I never said a MT body had to be more aerodynamic.
PEOPLE GET A SENSE OF HUMOUR
Its funny, its different, why the hell not?!?!?!?!
Like the quad bike bady its not the most practical body but its great for a laugh.
Would be hilarous to see someone towing their golf clubs around by it.
