Do you guys do anything to your gear box if you have to put yor car or truck on the shelf for a long period of time? You know when winter hits? every winter i clean up my engine and coat the internals with after run but what about the trany?

I make sure my engines are clean c/w after run oil and store everything at or around room temp, I feel better then!

Make your truck REAAALY clean, including diff and all, then when snowing is done, take it out and drive, you'll be happier you did it before so when its a perfect day out, your not stuck nside trying to rebuild yoiur diff and finish cleaning your car.
