I don't have any direct experience with their speed control. As the editor of the Nitro Magazine, it's not too often that I get to try a variety of electric components anymore. Any electric guys here that have tried this speed control?

OK Andrew, that doesn't quite qualify as an answer to the question! :D FMA, one could logically assume from the question, is a manufacturer of electronics; definately speed controls... ehhhh?! :D :D :D j/k

Thank you steve. your the reason i always come back to this board. to remind me how much my 2 cents count in this Board. either that or it is jusy funny to watch you try to out do my sarcasm or idiocy at times :p

but ne ways the question is logical considering for all i knew they couldve made more than ESCs like motors or other things that might spark my interest to buy

FMA is an importer & are located near me. They have a line of low cost servos, ESCs & other paraphenalia. My personal experience with their servos is with an MP6 and the results are mixed. The FMAs break sooner but cost half as much for similar specs. They seem to be a cost effective alternative to high end Futuba & Airtronics. Personally, I'll spend the extra & use the best I can as I don't think it's worth it to skimp on the radio gear...

I dunno man... but if their ESC are anything like their servos... but since the ESC has no moving parts, it might be pretty good. I fail to see how surface mount components could just go bad in a short while... whereas the gears in my servo ingested themselves in a couple of minutes. Good luck if you do get one!

Well, okay, the vx12 is an exception... oh yeah, and my old traxxas receiver which was so old it was filled with sand and shorted out... funny how the circuit board was sealed but didn't save it... :)

What makes me mad is that the Vx12 didn't have a motor limit, and the EVX is a minimum of 19t motors. No more monster maxx pro for the E-Maxx if you have an EVX.
