Where Do these Guys Get Accel and Speed???

At my LHS guys there hardly ever have full throttle. All they are doing is hitting the gas enought o get them down the straights and over jumps. What do they have that I dont. Escs dont make that much diff do
they??I would also like to know what Equiptment I should get for my New XXX i am getting.

Right now I am running:
- a fusion ESC
-Hitec Equiptment
-2400 batteries
- a p2k motor with a 22turn pinion

The Fusion works GREAT in the XXX, it is just fine, I run a 23 tooth, adn a 82 spur in mine, i also have 2400 batts and a P2K, but i have futaba radio equip, i suggest a high speed servo though. and YES, ESCs make a BIg diff
