my friend wants a rtr t3 is it any good we just bash and sometimes race

Yes it is. Its the same as their other cars except it comes with dogbones instead of CVD's and blue aluminum shocks instead of teflon anodized shocks (99 people out of 100 couldn't tell you the difference between the two)

so its a good car in what aspects durability what else i dont know much about associated stuff is it the best low priced offroad rtr out there

Bryce, I was helping out at a hobby shop for a few months recently. we sold 3 of the T3 RTR's and they break easily, many of the parts are made in Taiwan, even the tyres..

All 3 that sold while I was there came back for repairs.. your friend may consider a US made kit or Losi kit. The LRP ESC in them have no off/on switch. you plug it in and its on, me personally am not fond of that idea and for the pittance it would take to add one, LRP was just being cheap.

thanks i think i will tell him about that he just wants a good cheap rtr truck i said losi but he wants rtr

The 3 people you sold RTR's too, were they brand new and ran them into curbs and trees? Where something is made shouldn't matter since they use associated's molds.

Im a Losi man myself but i have heard nothing but good about the RTR T3. Iv ownd a FT T3 before and liked it, there were some things i wish Assocaited would improve on. The T3 is an awesome little truck. The Losi XXXT (my personal fav) and the T3 have many championships under their tires.

So just tell your friend to get the RTR T3. But it would be better if you ditched the ESC and the motor and get a good Sport ESC from Novak and a stock rebuildable motor. Because in the long run you will be thanking god you did!

BTW there were some people saying that the Losi XXXT breaks to easy which is a lie. I think it was to suport Team Associated Trucks and were saying this to make Losi look bad. Don't believe anyone when they say they break easy when they don't own it themselfs!

losi stuff is strong as heck and the only reason i break my double x is due to my own stupidity he wants the rtr t3 and he doesnt race or care about the esc and motor because he hardly knows what they are i am educating him i told him to stop by here and he would learn a lot he thinks his rtr t3 will beat my double x with an 11 double and 2400s i told him yeah he is going to kill me in race (sarcasm intended)
