I need some help finding a sealed box for my receiver. It is a hitec Dcx. I looked at tower but they just had replacements for other trucks. Is there a good aftermarket box that I can buy somewhere. Thanks in advance

What type of RC10 is this? If its an original RC10 then I don't think there is enough room on the chassis; atleast not for most boxes I've seen. You might be able to fit a receiver box on any of the Associateds but all of your other electronics (if its an electric car) will be left exposed, so whats the point?
However if you have a RC10GT then a receiver box is a good idea. I just got done installing one and I can give you info on how I did it if you are interested.

It is a gt. It is only a year old. I just want my new receiver to be protected from the elements. Thanks

Here are the instructions I posted in the GT forum a few days ago on how to do this (BTW it needs to be the new blue plate chassis in order for this to work):
It worked! Ok I know I'm not the first to do this but this box looks awesome. Especially since it is blank and there are no logos on it: perfect for me to decorate. :D BTW its Traxxas part number 4924.
I'll try to post pics and instructions on what I did within the next few day. Its pretty simple and all it involves is cutting the antenna mount of the stock radio plate, bolting the new box onto the plate so it fits and doesn't hit the fuel tank, then just putting everything back onto the car.
-Just for future reference a RC10 is an electric buggy made from 1984-about 1993. The RC10GT is a gas truck based on that chassis design but its totally different.

ATM Thanks. I have the blue plate chassis so that should work. I think I remember a new box that should have came out by now. I saw it in either my caraction or rc nitro and it was blue. I am looking through all my back issues but I can't find it. If I remember right it was an aftermarket box and it was not made for any certain brand. I do not know. I might just wrap it in a plastic bag! Thanks
