Have been looking through ebay listings for a double action airbrush.
What do you all think of this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Iwata-Revolution-HP-CR-Gravity-Feed-Airbrush_W0QQitemZ8223389215QQcategoryZ28111QQtcZp hotoQQcmdZViewItem
It will be replacing my badger bottom feed single action brush.
Thanks guys......... :)

Well, you can hardly go wrong with an Iwata brush. There seems however to be much variance of opinion on the choice between gravity and suction feed. I've found that a grav brush is better-suited to illustration work than it is to any other task, while the suction brush has a much broader reach of capability. Sooner or later I'll make a series of drawings to better illlustrate ( ;) ) my meaning.
In any case, it comes down to personal preference, so go with that which turns your crank the best.

I use a badger bot. feed single action brush at the moment but find it very limiting when I try to paint a flash paintjob on my RC bodies.
I've seen lots of ppl recommend iwata revolution but there are a lot of variations available so thought i'd get some expert opinions b4 splashing out.
If this is ok for detail work flames etc then its what I want.
Thanks for your reply :D

Adrcracing put it best when he said, it's always the painter not the brush that makes the best paint jobs. However, I can honestly say that picking up an Iwata improved my skills because of the increased versatility. I started off with a Badger 155 and now have the HP-C. You really can't go wrong with one.
