I love 1/8 scale buggies and I've wanted one since the Inferno MP-5 was the latest and greatest. Everytime I was going to get one something always came up until now. I just scored a Inferno 7.5 Kanai II off ebay for $187 (how sweet is that) Now I just need and engine and pipe and I'm ready to go (any sugestions). Sorry if I'm gloating but there pretty much is no rc scene in my area so I have no one to tell and I figured someone here will appreciate my story.

I have a sportweks .26 in my buggy and it is a great bashing engine, and i think it is only 130 bucks. Also thats a sweet deal!

Nice score! hope it all turns out good for ya :D . If you can swing it, Id get the N-Rossi Top BF.21 with a JP1 pipe. The engine is around $200...but Ive seen em run at my LHS and theyre quite nice. I havn't seen one in action, but there's a lot of positive talk about the O.S RG .21 here on the forums. I think it is a lil cheaper too. Anyway...good luck

Thanks for the ideas. I was leaning towards a sportwerk or xtm engine and definitaly the jammin pipe. I would love a novarossi or rb engine but its not so much the initial price of the engine but the replacement parts will kill you $150 for a piston and sleeve no thanks

How much are you looking to spend? right now I have a Novarossi BS21SB in my mbx-5 and it FLIES. I also suggest the Novarossi P5.

Congrats on the buggy purchase. So far I love my mayhem. I can't believe how fast this thing is. I would definately recommend the sportwerks motor for bashing.
