I noticed this my stock pre-painted Duratrax EVADER ST body... The paint was being scratched off the inside of the body by the tops of the front & rear shocks. I didn't want this to happen to the new body I just painted. So after I had the body painted (and after the paint dried of course). I put some small pieces of duct tape on the inside of the body where the tops of the shocks would rub.

Just a quick tip to help keep your new paint job looking good!

If you put too much tape on, when you hit stuff, the tape will peel off in the concaves and take a to of paint off with it.

choman, another option is to use Shoe-Goo. Smear a thin layer in the corners and high impact areas. It'll help keep the integrity of the lexan and won't peal off the paint from age.
