Yes, but use the double sided foam tape, something like double sided scotch tape won't work. Don't get duked into buying it from a hobby store where it probably costs more.

What does servo tape do? the only thing I use ti for is holding my speed control, and reciever down.

It's the same thing, it holds down the servo if the servo doesn't have a mount.

Is there anything special about servo tape? Can I just use double sided tape in place of it?
