Anyone make colored translucent bodies?

Now that would be cool. I've seen colored wings but not color translucent bodies.

None are currently produced, but I've seen numerous newbies make 'em. Just spray the body with any candy color, and don't back it with anything.
Not something I'm in to, but whatever floats your boat...

I did something like that except I masked the parts I want transparent. Then I would spray a color, back it(if it needs it), then take the masks off and spray the candy, pearl, or a translucent color and there you have it. I did a green color and I made the truck bed and few other areas translucent. I turned out allright but I wish I would've choose a different color.

i dont know what kinda paint it is, but if you put it on real thin, it gives it a translucent look. i did it to my blizzard it looks really neat in blue. i'll look it up and try to get back to ya.

Cool. I was thinking of having a translucent body and glueing color leds on the chassis to put those 3000's to use ;)
