View Full Version : any uses for plastic bearings beside for the kit they came with?

ok gang!i do have a silly ?is there any other uses for the plastic bearings that come with the kit.all my cars n trucks i got have been upgraded or will be assemble with metal bearings!i have some sets that r used n some not? is there anything could u use these for or should i throw them out???i could use the space in my rc car tool box (they dont take up that much space but space is space,lol)any ideas?????
also any opions on teflon bearings,r they better than the metal ones????i see alot on sale on ebay???any opions on teflon?

If you lose a metal bearing and you need a new one just before your A-main for ifmar or something, just throw in a plastic one. hehe

I use plastic bushings in places where I know that water/mud will ruin bearings, and that the bearing advantage wouldn't be noticeable.

I used them to raise the center diff on my 9.5E conversion.
I probably have over 100 from tamiya kits.

Put 'em on a string and wrap your christmas tree with them. A LOT less of a mess than popcorn!

I've used them for axle spacers and washers in a pinch

World domination....... thats what i use mine for..
opps. seriously- i use em for my minitatures. I play warhammer 40k, and they are used in my terrain right now
