If you can find an evo 2 or fk 04 with the c- hub suspension, thats the best route to go. The xray cars are much more adjustable than the tc3, and are much tougher in general.

Another thing to consider, over the past few weeks I noticed a considerable price drop in the TC3's parts - for example a set of aluminum screws was a few months ago 35$ (CDN), and now can be found for 11$ (CDN). Now that the TC4 and TC4 FT is out, expect to be able to find parts and upgrades for a lot cheaper.

I switched from my tc3 after racing it for 3 years. I know have an Xray T1 FK04 and it is 10x better. I havent broke a thing yet, its faster, and handles better. I found one off of ebay for less than $230 and it was in perfect condition. If you do get an Xray, get the Fk04 or newer. They run shorter arms which are better than the long armed cars.
