Contact your local carpet dealers. Even if you can get a better deal somewhere else, the shipping is going to kill you.

WWW.OZITE.COM Maybe contact them to find out who might sell "that RC racing carpet" They might have a dealer near you. Worth a shot.

There is a generic type of OZITE on the market. It is hard to tell the difference from one to the other plus it is cheaper in price. Talk with you local carpet dealers, it is the same material used to cover custom automotive speaker boxes.

If you are worried about using the generic version (if you can locate it) remember this. The largest indoor carpet race in the world does not use OZITE. They use the generic version and it does just fine. www.snowbirdnationals.com

Go through crc.com Frank Calandra's new fastrack ozite picks up traction alot faster and holds it better. I would highly recommend it over I think its dupont carpet they use at the birds.

Look for shops in your area or vincinity that operate a carpet track. Get and information you can on where they got theirs, in what size, cost and how they laid it ( it that will help). K & N Speedway in Stafford Springs Ct is one of the oldest tracks in New England I think is on their third maybe forth ozite carpet. But there may be tracks closer to you who can help.

RC madness uses frank's fasttrack carpet, i think chris has been using crc ozite for a while now, like the past few generations at least.

I think most tracks are using the CRC brand of ozite both for cost and quality.
Of the tracks I raced that got Ozite from a carpet retailer did not wear as well sometimes. Building a new track, may I ask where.

No, but a few friends of mine are going to set up a small "track" in Newton, MA. It would be in a small privateish place. But it will be low key, but it would be a great place to practice on. Give me 12 years and I'll open a track. We will just run rc18ts and mini-ts. Maybe on road 18th scale too.

I'm aware of RCE. I've already been there. In Waban if you know of it. The reason I wanted to set one up half a mile away is so I can bike there and my friends who live just as close can too and we can race on friday nights. :D
