TC3 Racer or HPI RS4 Sport 2

Which one of the cars is the most competitive car out of the box. I realize that both are the base versions offered but they must have some potential for the budget racer. Also which one of the two is the most reliable one offered.

The HPI RS4 Sport 2...might want to wait for an HPI RS4 Sport 3...eventually, right?

yea i would say wait for the new s3 but the tc3 is a good car
o and the tc3 would beat the s3 in a out the box race and a pro3 for that matter

The tc3 is much better for competition not only because of its shaft drive but, also there are more competition setups for the TC3. The TC3 is also more reliable with the absence of belts etc.
The one that your local track supports the most is usually the best one to go with.
Parts availibility is also a big factor you have to consider.

I agree with destrega, the tc3 also has a cool rally conversion available for it if you ever feel the need for some offroad action with it

i mena what is the use of haveing the fastest car there and only being able to race 5 minutes before you have to mail order some more parts
so get what your hobby shop has the most parts for ( you just better hope that it is a TC3)
