Let me be the first to say on this forum that its SOMETHING ELSE ~!

Can't lie to you bro', it turned out better than expected. The lines of it with the cowl set it off. Especially when you darken in the windows & add more detail it'll do so even more. Something tells me thats your winter plans too. :)

Engine work is clean & neat along with hose routing. Does it get any better? What else you plan on doing?

41 MPH at your elevation is KICKIN'.. (still ain't skeeered me yet though) :D

Btw, any other Edge owners out there? If so, eat your heart out. :p

Oh, the windows are getting painted tomorrow:D Can't leave it lookin like that. Other plans:D Can't really think of any right now other then sending the motor off for mods:D Thanks for the compliments. I am a perfectionist so the scratches on the cylinder fin really bother me:( I'm really ticked off because AClazer kicked me off Jims cuz I made everything private due to some bad messages I was recieving from some cuuuuk.:D I emailed jim so hopefully I'll be back on there tomorrow:D Also going to run it tomorrow so I'll update you on the performance:D

What happened over there? Dom is pretty fair so they'll get you back up & running. Interesting how you get buddies you only tend to chat with on certain forums isn't it? :) This is still my fav. Speaking of engines..... I don't have any. All sent out for mods too. That mark on the fin isn't bad. But thats me & I ain't no perfectionist. Fast, reliable & no junk.

How much room do I need to leave around my exhaust with the hatch??? I have it a little less then 1/8 right now. Is that enough???

Humm, I can't speak from experience with that type of pipe. I'd run it, bring in & feel the area. Hot, cut.

its a bonzisports one, you can get them in various colors.
As for the gap around the pipe, i had a bonzi 50 did the pipe out the top thing, about 1/4 of an inch clear worked fine, but like dd said if its ok at an 1/8 then leave it alone, i just did a 1/4 from the start. :D

lookin great e' - it is so well done that I can hardly tell that it wasn't watercooled and with a hatch stock. Great job, and I can't wait to see it with the windows painted.

In the picts. it looks like a wire one rather than the tube type! Later-

its tube. Look at the first pic with the cowl & then the other. Might've been the flash ?

Well, I'm a little dissapointed. Went to the pond yesterday and only got 35???? I don't know why this would be!!! Do you think it could be where I tapped the carb spacer??? Could it be running too cold. The first day I went and ran it for about 2 min. and got 39.1 so the two things mentioned above are all I can think of.

with the cowl? Maybe the extra weight of it. Did the strut get messed with? It shouldn't be too cold. Then again....

Btw, 35 mph in these boats is boring isn't it <rolleyes>

W/out the cowl btw. the strut didn't get messed with until I messed with it. The first day I ran it for 5 min it ran close to 40. Yeah, 35 is sssssllllloooowwww ;)

What are you using for a pipe clamp?

ejp
09-26-2005, 08:42 PM
It is a bike post clamp to hold the seat.:D Works good.

Hey, DD. I only have 6mph to make up and I'll have it runnin as fast as you:D I hope with some engine mods I'll get 47:D

Hi Eric,

Great looking boat. Your next project should be a trailer for it, so you can take it where ever your parents go. Just hook it up to the car and off you go to sea level......
