IMO the electric stampede is one of the best built trucks ever because it is simple and performs so well. The problem is that not a lot of companies make products for it because of the dozens of other more popular technically advanced monster trucks. I'm sure there will be other suggestions but here's a couple places that offer some stuff:

ESP has a limited anount of Electric Pede cool stuff:
http://www.esphobby.com/prod05.htm

Xtreme Racing Carbon Fiber Electric Stampede Chassis:
http://www.xtremercracing.com/Stampede_Carbon_Fiber_Parts.cfm

Lunsford titanium turnbuckles for the Electric Pede:
http://www.lunsfordracing.com/catalog/stampede__electric_version__427506_products.htm

HG's ENTIRE list of Electric Stampede parts consists of body mounts... and that's it:
http://www.1hg.com/home/Indexnf.htm

MIP CVDs:
http://www.miponline.com/catalog.html#traxxas_4

This Thundertech cage is awesome but is no longer available:
http://www.thundertechracing.com/Diamond.htm (http://http://www.thundertechracing.com/Diamond.htm)

However I believe you can still get this Thundertech AWESOME chassis till they run out:
http://www.thundertechracing.com/outlaw.htm

Here's an aluminum bumper from Team Platinum Racing:
http://www.teamplatinumracing.com/BAN003.html

Really Cool Swami Wheelie Bar:
http://www.swami-rc.com/ordering/

I think you can get aluminum Stampede wheels here:
http://www.rc-parts.com/faze.htm

More is made for the Nitro Stampede but I'm not sure what is interchangeable. Check out this older post I found though:

ANY MORE IDEAS GUYS? :D

Distress80, you are right on with the stampede/rustler being the best built trucks ever.

here are a few examples of my stampedes and rustlers to give you some ideas:

check out Fast lane Machine for aluminum stuff, upgrade the rear hub carriers to the nitro stampede ones with larger bearings, i make my own carbon fiber chassis's, replace gears with metal (aluminum idler, and coldfusion racing SS diff gear if you go crazy brushless motors), steel output yokes, 4" shocks all around, widen the truck (coudl be with Fastlane aluminum arm kit), etc.

Goto> www.ultimatetraxxas.com and check out the ultimate pede! That's a good start to mods! There is enough stuff out there to keep the pede ahead of the rest! The novak SS5800 and good batts is a good starting place;-)

If you're looking for a good power upgrade also, check the Novak GTB systems out, easiest brushles setup out there, no maintenence

If you want aluminum, check out Fastlane machine products.

fs454 (or anyone who know electronics!), do brushless setups really make that much of difference in speed? right now i run a 17 turn d6 with 7 cells... how much faster would the Novak 6.5 brushless GTB be? What are the other benefits of Brushless?

I used to know of a company that made direct replace aluminum skid plates for the Stampede. I wish I could find them now.

Brushless gives you a lot more power..espically in trucks where your pushing big wheels. I don't think the GTB ESC will do 7 cells, your best off with either the LRP system for that, or sensorless (MGM 80 controller/ Feiago 380c 7t).

The biggest Advantages for me is the low Maint. needed(Sealed motor), Not having to replace motors all the time(just bearings) and the biggie steady performance! The SS5800 I have has not changed It runs as good now as when it was new! :D I'll Never go back to brushed systems........AGAIN! :D

CVD's limit suspention travel! CVD's are great for racing with stock set up.....But if you plan to change your shock positions to gain A-arm travel the CVD's will keep falling out!

I agree the stampede is an awesome vehicle for bashing and thrashing, probably the vehicle I most regret having sold. I am amazed nobody has mentioned the absolute must have hop up for any Stampede you are going to put some extra oomph behind........RPM bearing carriers. Don't tell me you all haven't worn out those little traxxas ones in pretty short order.

Im not too familiar with the Nitro Pede so I don't know. You might want to ask the guy who did that mod... he could probably tell you.

If you read the whole thread it tells you it "should." however personally I know for a fact that it would as the electric and nitro stampede utilize the same arms/carriers, so if it fits the electric it will fit the nitro. :)
