Im gonna be gettin into racing at a local track. I went there and they have a large drivers stand. My question is does anybody make a strap for a radio so if u let go it doesn't fall and brake?

Flyer's radios have neck straps. You could probably make something on your own. Primus huh? They are in my top 3.

I can't think of anyone who makes one specifically for R/C, but I found one that works when I bought my current Sony Discman. It came with a little wrist strap that happened to be easy to attach to a solid part of my Mars, & it's a perfect fit..... :)

Multiplex make neck straps and other stuff for their radios, but as Bones said, they're mainly for their stick/flyer radios, i.e. their Profi Car series don't have straps. Which is a pity, I've always wanted one....

I'm using a wrist strap that came with a micro cassette recorder on my R1. I can't say it's ever prevented me from dropping my radio yet. I think a neck strap would be a better idea. I like the neck strap idea because I can use it to hang the radio from my neck. The R1 gets heavy after 20 minutes or so. I was thinking a neck strap from one of my work ID badges would work pretty good.
