Has anybody used the Novak Battery Cross bars? Are they any good, I'm looking for a strong low profile battery bar to use in a MF 1.

Honestly, they're all the same. The bars are only as good as the solder joint. You shouldn't be relying on the battery bar for strength anyways.

Audi,

You are vey right, and my soldering is great only reason I ask is I'm tired of using the Deans Pro 3 bars because I had to modify my chassis, by notching the battery box.

I use the Trinity Copper Watt Bars (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNG01&P=7). Low profile and cheaper. Don't fall for the Gold/Silver/ Platimum plated line. Solid Copper is all you need.
If course, if money is no object, go for Niftech Solid Silver bars (http://www.niftech.com/catalog/index.cgi?mode=6000series) :D

Anybody else have any more suggestions?

The only thing about the copper bars is that they're prone to oxides coating the surface. This is not an issue if the bar is stamped and soldered right away but that is simply not the case. Perhaps sanding the oxide off the copper before soldering it would help.

Bling bling to the Niftech Solid Silver bars though!

What cells are you using? Cells from GPs to IBs are configured differently. I forgot what bars I've used on which battery but all I remember is that I'm using SMC bars with the IB3800s. Basically a low profile bar.

I'm running the GP Yellow/Green fatties.
