Hi all,

I posted the Q about "what tools and what toolbox". I have my toolbox and I'm ready to get some tools. I haven't worked on my T-Maxx much so I don't know if it's all metric or enlish. I know that my glow plug is an 8mm and I need an 8mm to get my wheels off. I plan to buy a nice set of ball-end allen key drivers so I need to know which to get.

Also, is there a special glow plug wrench? I've been using an 8mm nut driver.

thanks
Jay

there is special plug wrench, it is basically 4 different size nut drivers and spots to hold extra plugs. but a nut driver works too!!

towerhobbies.com item #LXL387

The hex screws to the motor are 2.5mm. Check the instruction manual Hardware parts list in the back. I did and it looks like they are 99.9% metric. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
I would advise getting a lot of the countersuck screws that hold the skidplates on. They tend to get a little "screwed" up. Pun intended. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/wink.gif
