what to to do after long time with no use????

Hey
Since the weather is warming up over here in Aust, i thought i would take the miss bud 1/12 out for a spin

Now, I havent used it for about a year nor have i started it, so what do you guys recommed i do before use??

I havent finished running it in yet so i will put a few more tanks in it, but whats recommed before starting?

I have had after run oil in it for the yr that it wasnt used, do i need to grease the shaft? and what sort of grease do i use?

I have done most of the mods recommened for the first series bud boat

check ur electronics for any sign of corrosion, rust and moisture that will lead to lost contact during the run.

i would say so greasing the shaft, if u want use marine grease from any hobby shop.

check also the bolts n' nuts, retight it.

be careful with your drive shaft ....when i wanted to re grease the drive shaft i had to take the hole engine out cause we could get the drive shaft loose ...they had put loc-tite on and we couldnt get it loose... :( :( :( after that it was running sweet....
