Press release

In recent years there has been a growing demand for "all-out" styled open cockpit bodies to fit the popular 200mm gas powered 4WD cars. The few bodies currently available just didn't fit the modern chassis too well because of the high front shock tower and shock configuration. Well, PROTOform has solved this problem with its all new 200mm Lola T530.

This body features all the aero "tweaks" of it bigger brother, the PROTOform 1/8th scale Lola that recently TQ'ed at the IFMAR Gas Worlds in Messina. It also features a unique rear spoiler that's suited for long fast straight-aways and an add-on spoiler extension with "wicker bill" for shorter, tighter tracks. It comes with clear protective film, spoiler mounting hardware and decals. If you've always wanted to convert that gas sedan into a high-speed "outlaw class" racer, now's your chance!

Features:
· A first from PROTOform
· Protective paint-then-peel over spray film
· Add-on spoiler extension included
· Made from .030 Lexan

SWEET but not with the dish wheels. BBS or spoke wheels are best with this body. Hopefully it can fit perfectly on Nitro TC3 and RS4 3.

Thats the exact same thing I was thinking! Changing the wheels and the rear looks kinda wierd.. Almost like a slot car or dirt oval rear end.. If I get it I must design the floating rear body mounts for my rs4 3.

Wha?????

Why am I the last to know?? When did this happen???

Its about time!!! And I also like the dimples in the front to allow for taller front shock towers. Thats good for some of the cars that don't have the laydown shock option. :D

Pfft. Come one! It's not a shiny blue brick on wheels.

It's a shiny blue curvy doorstop shaped brick on wheels!

Might not be as good looking as the Mazda 6, but we all want one...

Someone needs to make stuff like the R93CP, Audi R8, Bently Speed 8 etc...If they've got the Lola, they've gotta have those

you will not find a better handling body than this one (or this style)!

I wonder how much lower they can get the center section without cramping the chassis.. I like the look of the Speed 12 for 12th scales.

I agree with MikeWz. The Lola body is tired. That thing first showed up back in the 70's and it looks it. I would be much more interested in onroad racing if they used bodies modeled after the cars MikeWz mentioned.
