i was just thinking, and perhaps those who would care about this already know, you can put ball bearings in some of the Nikko RCs (and their Radio Shack clones). I know some of u guys are putting in "hobby" electrics, so why not bearings too? lol. and not just wheel bearings, but tranny bearings also :-) . the 3 "types" (too many individual models to list) i know of definitely are the (1)2wd,540 motor, trailing arm front suspension, solid axle rear - BOCA Bearings sells a set for TYPE 1(2) 4wd, dual 3xx motors, A-arms w/dogbones on all four corners(3) 2wd-540 motor OR 4wd-dual 3xx motors, , solid axle rear, A-Arm w/dogbones up front IF 4wd.
and things that apply to all three "types" : DIGITAL PROPORTIONAL CONTROL (on some it may be throttle and steering - on some just the steering)and a standard "rc" nut holding on wheels.
model must meet ALL requirements to be considered to fit a "type". dont match up one feature, then get mad at me when u take it apart looking for bushings to replace and dont find any ! lmao
there may be other models also, but just incase u have a model layin around that fits one of these "types" u may have just learned something new u can do to it :-)
