thats pathetic, was this year that bad of a year for RC that a maxx was chosen??? those cars are so brittle and slow.

24mph for a monster truck, ya certainly is. Did you see that maxx go flying into a nose dive without a scratch? thats what i ask my self after a huge gainer :D

You consider 24 MPH for a 10 lbs. ELECTRIC MT slow? What would you have considered for TOTY,.....let me guess, the RC10GT? Or the Losi XXXNT, what pray tell is innovative about them? Certainly you wouldn't have chosen any of the "monsterized" buggies!!!!! Oh, I get it, it's a Traxxas so it doesn't deserver Truck of the Year, right? I thought so.

I will list the reasons...

1- Novak ESC, reversing with brake, shows commitment to customers
2-Long travel oil damped shocks (8)
3-Adjustable double-arm pivot ball susp.
4-Adjustable toe-in
5-Shift on the fly tranny
6-Dual titan 550 motors
7-High-Torque steering servo
8-Accepts Stick or side by side packs

chuck- i have an npede and i like traxxas. i just feel the truck ***** .

24mph is pretty slow for a dual motored MT. yes they are brittle, ive heardo f these things shattering A-arms and suspension braces from medium size crashes.

24mph(and thats stock my E-MAXX is in the 30's) is NOT slow for a duel motored MT,other 2 motored MT's dont even get in the 20's,,As far as them being brittle,,I THINK NOT...i have seen T and E-MAXX's do some wild things and not break..I jumped my STOCK E-MAXX of my roof which is about 30ft at its highest point...(first attempt was on a lower part of the house, about 10ft..)and i did not break a thing, didnt even pop a shock cap....the first 30ft attempt i landed on all 4 wheels the next attempts ,,,well.......not so good, but still nothing broke.....I speack from experiance from what i have done and seen, that the MAXX trucks are not brittle..

That thing is pretty nasty. I never ever even considered MT's worth owning until I saw an E-MAXX run. Maybe someday.

i love those maxxes, but i think the pede is a bit tougher. stock e-maxxes are brittle comparedto some other trucks. my T3 for instance, i took it off this table jump where one leg is up and the other leg down and it creates this HUGE jump and it went off that and this was on pavement. i did it aobut 5 times before i had leaky rear shocks. yesterday at the track this guy had an e-maxx stock that he bought a couple days ago and he was taking a jump a little bit higher than the one i took and after about 5 times of taking that he snapped an A-arm.

the A-arm problem i think comes from the dual shocks on each arm. those things put extra stress on the arms

yea they do. wouldn't surprise me. thats why i'm pickin' up the stampede. with the t/e-maxx ruling the mags now a days NO ONE i mean NO ONE is making hop-ups for the pede. at least NO ONE that i know of.

Theres hopups for the epede u just gotta search for em, I saw a tricked out one on ebay the other day. People arent making as many products for them because the aftermarket revolves around the maxxes for the moment, it probably was around the pede for a while as well, once something else comes out the maxx will start to fade away. I remember when they first came out, ebay (i use it to sell my maxx products lol) had like 15-20 items and they all sold for a lot, now you got like 500+ and barely ne sell cause everyone has what they need. If I wouldve gotten a pede I prolly would have made hopups for em cause the aftermarket support is small and I could make make some $$$ but instead I got my maxx for free and made a little money making bumpers for the maxx line. Oh well  Ne ways thanks for reading my rant, hopefully it made sense. :D
