Gearing Question

If i want more speed I need less teeth in the gear or is it the other way.

Less teeth on the spur, or more teeth on the pinion to make more speed.

Becarefull no to over heat the motor by over gearing.

More speed: more teeth on pinion gear (gear on motor)
More acceleration: less teeth on pinion gear

TOO MANY teeth on the pinion will overheat/over stress your motor, which can severely damage it.
