Yet Another Crazy Idea

After reading many posts concerning BL motors and such, I thought: If a 15-or-so turn brushed 540 motor in a 1/18 scale (using a different motor mount) can hit insanely high speeds -- like 70 MPH range, wonder what would happen If someone put in a Sphere/Neo-One or the Novak 5.5 Velociti system? :eek: :eek: :eek:

I think there would be a point where you would lose control of it, and it would go cartwheeling for a very, very long way. ;) :p

Hmmm... I think the tires (if foams) would just rip apart at such high speeds...

Other than that, that would be a WICKEDLY fast little beast!

I think the acceleration would be hard to control causing the car just to spin out. You would have to make sure the drivetrain would handle it also.

Heh I never said I was the one doing it..... just another idea floating around..... I'm not willing to spend that kinda money on something bound to mess up and destroy itself :rolleyes: ;)
