You all heard it from me 1st lol. Just joking. I found this at a popular mini rc car site. http://www.one18th.com/news/data/upimages/shark.jpg
Its a 18th scale buggy from LRP. They said it should be released in November. Not sure about if it will be available in the US or not. Maybe AE may know. But by the discription it has allot of nice features. :D

A 1/18th scale buggy you say? That looks neat. With all the new 1/18th scale products coming out onto the market, I think that 1/18th off-road will become popular cars to race. Anyways, I think that it's a good idea, and I've never seen 1/18th buggies before.
We'll just have to wait and see what its like; more specs, etc.

Did you see the Kyosho Half 8? It looks just like the Inferno but smaller.

I'm wondering if this new LRP buggy is actually 1/18 scale or if it is the same size as the inferno half 8 (1/16 scale). If they are the same size, we may see a new class of mini racing. Coicidence that LRP now makes/matches batteries for 1/18 scale cars...I think not! It seems to me as though LRP is really branching out from speed controls, they are doing batteries, motors, and I guess even cars now too! Sounds cool to me!

nosram has been around since the 80's,lrp is there USA product line ,team associated does not make there own electronics and if they did they would not rename them for the euro market,i would like to see a lil more of this buggy though to see how much like a 18t it is

Not saying you are wrong but I remember seeing something in RC Car Action a while ago about the first LRP speed control and how it came about. I can't remember the guys name (pretty sure he's German) but it showed the evolution of his first ESCs which were called LRPs..they even had little "blue is better" stickers on them.

LRP ( Lautenbach Racing Products ) was opened in 1989 by Jürgen E. Lautenbach, in early 2000, NOSRAM was taken over by LRP.
