If you consider this as a problem of course..
listen..
I own a ta03f pro. Some time ago,i decided to buy a torque splitter unit and aluminum pulleys for the car.On the back of the splitter's box it said:you can decrease the friction loss caused by the torque splitter by using a larger pulley on the side you place the splitter.

Larger pulley on the splitter side...

Tamiya had 15T and 16T aluminum pulleys available seperately. So I put the 16T and 15T on the car.It seemed everything was right.

Then Tamiya introduced the "torque control" unit.At fist sight this was a new hop-up to buy but later it turned out that this torque control unit was nothing more than a torque splitter with 15T and 17T pulleys in the package.I didn't want to spend another 30$ or stg. so the right choice would be to buy a 17T aluminum pulley.
But here it is...There was no seperate 17T alum. pulley for the car !!

1-So,by putting the 15T and 17T in the trq. ctrl. do tamiya mean that we should never change the total number of pulley teeth which is 32 ? (stock:16+16,with trq.ctrl:15+17)
2-Now I have a 31-teeth ta03.What will happen ?
Should I go for the stock 16T+16T setting anyway ?
3-If I shouldn't then WHAT ??? Help me....

Thanks for your patience.

by a torque splitter mean a differential? Um...depending on the bigger belt, yo might have understeer or over sterr.

Well with the larger diameter in the front... the torque is greatly controlled vs. the rear which almost has none... so either set up is fine... as for me, i have the 16/16...

Thanks :)
So do you mean "It's better to put the larger diameter in the front even if you put the splitter in the rear" ?

It would best to be placed in the front since most of the torque is coming from the front
