Please help an elecric newb!

Well I was running my team losi xxx for about ten minutes then it stopped working as in only steering work and doesn't move forward. It only moves forward when YOU GIVE IT A QUICH PUSH FOR A LAUCH. Also there is a slight grinding noise now.

It's possibly the motor. Look for a hung brush, cracked magnet, and etc.

Sounds like you might have some dirt in the motor. Having to push it to get it started sounds like a hung brush. Dirt can cause a hung brush or maybe a bent brush hood.

^^^^ Good advice. Definitely sounds like a hung brush.

Take the motor out, take the endbell off and inspect everything. Clean the brush hoods out and clean/re-lube everything. While the motor is out check your tranny to make sure it is free.

maybe the pinion gear loosned up,i would check that when u yank out the motor or the motor needs to be adjusted so the pinion gears come in contact with the tranny gears.......did u play with the motor before this happended????????
