I have a old RC10T, and im restoring it, and i got all the parts i need, except the guy i bought it off of said that the tranny was shot. I have a workin t3 tranny, i've been told i coudl swap em out. But id rather fix the tranny on my 10T, im wondering what makes a tranny shot? I thought whatever it was it was replaceable. I really want to get my truck fixed cause im movin to a city that has a huge rc track and store, and i wanna race it.

I think when he says the Tranny is shot he means the Gear's inside are messed up....like the teeth are gone off of one gear and so on. A simple Tranny/Diff rebuild kit would solve that if you can find one. Maybe im wrong. :D

You need to talk to Jeep about it. He's the man when it come's to the Old RC10's and Restoring them......awesome looking when he gets done with them and shares the Pics with us. Talk to him and im sure you will get the help.

I could be mistaken, but I think the RC10T used the same tranny that's currently used in the RC10GT.
