NBA stars like R/C too!

On Inside Stuff this morning they had a segment on Don Reid's and some other NBA star's(forgot his name) R/C cars. It was a good segment and they showed them in action. They had a T Maxx and some other stadium trucks.

Awsome! I saw just yesterday on of those car shows drive some nitro rs4's around there garage! It was prety neat seeing r/c on TV.

I saw a pic of a HPI supra in the background of a BF goodwrench ad.

My brother told me about that inside stuff feature; the other guy was Bo Outlaw. As soon as he mentioned NBA guys with R/C cars, I just KNEW at least one of them was a T-MAXX because EVERYBODY digs those things. Looks like I was right...

In an old RCCA it showed the band Third Eye Blind, driving their stadium trucks. I think ESPN should show R/C Car/Truck races and events. That would be very cool and then people like HPI and Team Associated and other companys could have comercials to show off their new stuff.

yea. so does the lead singer of smash mouth, and some of the jacksonville jaguars. the guy from smashmouth was at a race in RCCA in like the last issue. they showed him. the jaguar guys and the dude from smashmouth had HPI cars. the first time i saw them was on their site.

and the show in which u saw the 2 hpi rs4's was popular hot rodding television. its a new show on TNN. they were doing a segement on the la mans corvette, and they had the same vette in rc form, as well asa red and white viper. it was the first show which aired like 3 weeks ago, and again this past sunday. they even said "hpi hooked us up with these nitro rc cars" and then the funny car guy yelled out "niiiiiitttrrooooo!!!" in a really crappy accent type voice. it was pretty kool. the bodies kept flying up though. i dont know why. they probly didnt even have them attatched at all.
