I got to the track a lil early to get my car dialed for the races went something went wrong....real wrong. My esc TOTALLY melted leaving my car smoking and out of control(Luckily I didnt break anything) but anywayz i had melted plastic, some metal and wires as an ESC. For me this really suked..i just drove an hour and a half to race and i dont even make the qualifying rounds...But then this guy walked up to me and handed me an ESC and helped me put it in an everything. I was astonished...I've been into rc for a year now(im 15) and started racing a couple of weeks ago with my TC3, and this was the nicest thing...ive found that these guyz are always lookin to help you out no matter what.
P.S What do i do about my ESC?? Its a Cyclone about 6 months old.

That's awesome. I always lend anything I'm not using to anybody who needs it. I try to help as much as possible, give people that are obviously on a tighter budget than me some parts I don't use or anything I can. That's cool that that guy let you use his ESC. As for yours, I don't know if there is any kind of warranty on it. You'll definately need a new one. Good luck! Matt

WOW that was very generous of that guy... i dont race myself... but i got my friend into R/C about a couple years ago... i gave him all sorts of equipment... batteries, chargers, motors, etc... to me it felt good, cause he was racing at his LHS... that to me feels like a part of me is racing

KC10Chief, you sure seem like a nice person.
yankees2000, you may want to contact Novak directly, via a phone call. Explain to them what happened. They are a really great company.
My experience has been pretty good with RC people too. There is the occasional freak who pulls the macho attitude (which really trips me out considering we are all playing with TOYS !), but generally we are a good bunch.
Good luck with getting your ESC fixed/replaced ...
