Im new to this forum, and RC cars and trucks. I have a couple questions that I hope you can answer.
1) what are some good cars in 1:10 scale for between $100-$200?
2) are there any sites with information directed at the newbie?

Are you looking for Ready to run? Do you have any equiptment at all? Are you looking for on or off-road?

As for sites with information, look no fruther than here. very friendly place with plenty of people willing to help. Tons of info, don't froget to at least try the SEARCH function though ;) :D

woops sorry I forgot to mention that, yes I would want it RTR in cars or trucks, also on road and off road. Just would like to know the selection right now :)

Well, for the money you are looking to spend..eBay will be your best best. I would suggest either a Losi XXXS or an Associated TC3 (or TC4, but I think the TC3s will be less$$). I would say that for $200 you should be able to get something RTR and maybe an inexensive charger and a couple of batteries. You'd have to be patient and do some research to get the best deals. It won't be new, but at least you could have fun and learn.

i am going to sell my Traxxas Nitro Sport (Nitro Powered, Stated by TRAXXAS that its for HARD CORE BEGGINERS) http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitro/nsport/trx_nsport.htm as soon as i fix the tranny. i was running it the other day to test out the new 360 degree pipe i got for it ( http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJM04&P=7 ) and for some odd reson it just stopped moving. i havent took it apart yet, but after i fix it, i am gonna start asking $180 for it shipped. it comes with everything it came with new. even the original box and ALL manuals! i never really get into my nitro sport, i guess i just liked my on road car better. the engine was broken in with 20% blue thunder but i havent even ran a gallon through it. its still semi new. i can snap pics tomarrow after school if you like. oh yes, its even got a high torq futaba steering servo (i forget witch servo it is)
