What do I need to do to be able to run a nitro in the snow?
Are your servos water resistant? If not cover them as much as you can or put electrical tape tightly around the cover to case contact (theres a line/indent, you should know what I mean). Do it to both servos, cover the receiver and receiver battery in a balloon and tape with electrical tape all the wires so no water leaks to them. The engine will be fine as long as water doesnt get into the fuel tank and carberator

cool im getting a nitro pede im gonna do that. and will this also work for a rain. and how do u prevent water from getting in the fuel tank and carbuater
I wouldnt recommend that you drive in rain with anything R/C. But if you do, im not responsible. But yes it would basically be the same. Make sure your air filter doesnt fall off and is always on. To prevent water from entering the fuel tank, just refuel without any snow or water near is, water can only get in when you go to refuel.

hey, i ran my electric rustler into a ditch, which was full of water, and the only thing that was effected was my 80 dollor trinity matched 2400.
my servos, (well one, cuz i have an esc) and my fusion esc, and my receiver, (even though it had one plugin port showing, with nuttin plugged into it) and my motor was fine, after i dried em out, it worked great. except for the battery of course.
im plannin on getting a t-maxx, and if i get it i will be doin it during the winter, so here we go snow!!!! i also have plans drawn up to make a snowplow. which will cost a little dough.

Do you actually plow snow with it or does it make a path for the truck because I can't see how a T-maxx can get enough traction to push any snow?

well, i havent done it yet, cuz i dont have a t-maxx yet.
but i put one on my rustler, (its electric) and the metal thing bent, but it did push snow.
and my frien made an awesome one on his king blackfoot, and it worked good. again, its electric.
so, if the electrics can do it, the nitro will do it much much better. i know it cant push like 2 feet of snow, but when (and if) i ever get my 1/4 scale, ima hook up a lawn mower plow or quad plow, and get like an 8 channel radio, and make the thing move.
i may have to buy some better tires with more grip for the maxx though, btu they should work fine. i wouldnt push anymore than about 6 inches or a foot. unless it will do more. btu i dont think it will. id have to make a taller plow.
we do have a snowblower, but my dad has never showed me how to use it. and he barely gets off his butt and uses it anyway.
if i can, ill scan the plans i have when i scan my rustler's pics.(i dont have a t-maxx to get the exact measurements, so its just an hypothesis so far)
