Some will work, others will overcharge them. Which charger do you have?

Sorry about the cross post.

I have a cheap NIcd charger that you can select the amps; 2 or 4.
Nothing else can be changed.

I actually have a pretty good duratrax intelli peak charger but i'm not sure if it works anymore, whenever i go to charge my pack (KAN 1050mah 8.4 7cell)
it charges for 10 minutes then when i go to use the battery, it lasts 2 minutes, i know others with the exact smae setup that get 10 minutes) the pack is brand new.

You can use a charger to charge NiMH if it has an adjustable delta peak - yours does not, so the answer is no. When/if you buy a new charger, I would highly recommend spending the extra cash and buying a high-end one. A charger is something that will stay with you for a long time - it would be wise to get a good one. :)
