I'm looking for the absolute cheapest radio system to use for my digger. I'm mean the bear minimum no fine tuning, no duel rates, It doesn't even need any decals. All I need is a radio, a receiver, and a servo or two would be nice, but not a necessity. Any help with this will be appreciated.
I meant to add I was looking for a pistol grip

check out Tower Hobbies www.towerhobbies.com (http://www.towerhobbies.com) their own brand radios are very cheap. You might also look into buying a used one. You get better quality for less moneythat way(maybe)

I don't know about the cheapest, but I just ordered one of the BADDEST radios out there. Go ahead and check it out. It's one of the most advanced computer radios out there and I just bought it for $175? That's a deal IMHO!

the tower hobbies radoi is an older futaba re-labled, i would spend the $4 and get the 2pc(magnum sport) with one servo. It is much nicer than the lynx and tower.

Just FYI, RCCA reviewed my new radio in the Feb 2001 issue. That's when my lust for this radio began. I found the website and read up on it more, and my passion grew. I beheld one in person at the track last weekend and my passion grew even more. I just couldn't stand it anymore tonight, so I charged in on my Sony card. It's really becoming my little R/C loan giver (TiScruz, Snap-On tools for R/C, and now the radio...). Somebody stop me, PLEASE!!
If you don't know anything about the radio, click my link above and read about its awesome features.

See how bad it's getting? Now I'm really eyeing the XXTRA to use with it...
