Got a question about shock setup. The back end of my Blazing Star bottoms out. I put a heavier weight shock oil in along with some heavier springs already. It helped somewhat, but it still bottoms out. Is it just an inherent design flaw with the Tamiya shocks, or something else?

How high are you jumping? There is also a trick to put o-rings on the shock shaft to prevent the shock from compressing all the way, this way if the shocks don't move past a certain point, the bottom of the car can't hit thr ground.

I'm not jumping very high. Even over a small jump where it only gets about 3" off the ground it'll bottom out. I was thinking of putting some fuel tubing on the bottom of the shaft to act as a travel limiter for now.

That would be another way to do it if you don't have the extra O-rings.
