Anyone in the USA ordered from E-Tamiya or any other overseas online store?

I am thinking of ordering a Tamiya TA05 or the Desert Gator from E-Tamiya who is in Hong Kong. They are both listed for $119. :)
So has anyone ordered from overseas who lives in the US?

So the car is cheaper, but what about shipping? Usually shipping from Hong Kong means the end price is exactly the same, plus you have to wait longer. Also, why send your money to Hong Kong when you could buy the car at your LHS and support a local business?

I've ordered, along with many others, from stellamodels. They're great. Just make sure to factor in shipping to see how much you save.

I try to support my LHS, however they don't have Tamiya kits, Tower don't have the Desert Gator either. I asked them if they can get them and they said they don't know.

I've placed a few orders with RCXShop in Hong Kong. Just be sure you have your correct zip code on your order. Mine got left off on one order and it sat somewhere on the west coast for 6 weeks before anyone bothered to look up the zip code and get it moving again.

Ok that sounds good. I will check them out. I wish I could support my LHS, but if they don't have what I am looking for............
